Mills Nursing and Rehab rewards exceptional employees for their dedication to its residents, and in February, they awarded the Employee of the Month to Jauvana Cole.
Jauvana originally started at Mills Nursing and Rehab in 2005. She works in the dietary deptartment as a cook and is the official kitchen trainer because she is an expert in all of the positions. She mentors new hires to make them feel welcomed and encouraged.
Jauvana was born in Paducah, KY and raised in Mayfield, KY. She loves to cook, spend time with her family and travel with her girls, and she will tell you often she is trying to live her best life.
Jauvana enjoys working at Mills, "because we are a family first and not one person goes unnoticed." Her supervisor says, "she is an excellent team player. She will step in and help without being asked. She just picks up where she's needed and takes off."
The past several weeks Jauvana has been volunteering to assist at a sister facility that was in need. She is a true health care hero.
