Tammy Chen is one of the 45,000 dedicated caregivers working on the frontline of the COVID-19 pandemic to protect and care for the Commonwealth’s nursing home residents. Tammy is the Activities Director at South Cove Manor at Quincy Point and has been at the nursing home for nine years.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Tammy kept residents connected with family members and loved ones. She communicated regularly with families and helped to schedule meaningful virtual, indoor, outdoor, and compassionate care visits. Tammy quickly adapted to new visitation policies to ensure the emotional and social well-being needs of residents were being met.
Her dedication during the pandemic has been extraordinary. Tammy is a true health care hero.
