Enjoy Golf at The Breakers Ocean Course
With fairways that weave between sandy hazards, the Ocean Course rewards wit over power, challenging golfers to play the ball low on 140 acres overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. First laid out in 1896 by Alexander H. Findley, the Ocean Course was redesigned in 2000 by Brian Silva, Golf World's 1999 Architect of the Year. Combining a love of the game with technology, Silva preserved its unique attributes, while perfecting the course for the 21th century golfer. Silva's redesign addressed tee elevation, tee sizes, surface slopes, pin placement areas, the integration of sand and grass-faced bunkers and included a complex installation of new drainage and irrigation. The Breakers Ocean Golf Course is an 18 hole course with over 6,100 yards of play. The rating for the course is 68.1/Slope 127/Par70.

Room Rates/Taxes:
Take advantage of the special group rate of $295.00 per night, single or double occupancy for a superior king, $370 for a deluxe, and $495 for an oceanfront room, plus 6.5% Florida state tax and 5% Palm Beach County local tax - A surcharge will be charged for a third adult. Optional services, such as baggage handling, room attendant, room delivery, Golf bag handling and overnight parking and other unspecified hotel and guest services will be billed to individual guest rooms. The rate will be offered for three days prior to and after the conference dates based on hotel availability. Reservations must be made by Friday, April 6, 2012. Early reservations are encouraged as there are a limited number of rooms available. AHCA/NCAL will not hold the room block beyond the hotel deadline mentioned above. Reservation requests made after this hotel deadline will be based on availability at the prevailing rate determined by the hotel. Reservations must be accompanied by a first night room deposit or guaranteed with a major credit card. Cancellations must be done four (4) days prior to the individual arrival date to avoid a penalty fee. Please check for full deposit requirements and cancellation terms at time of booking.

The Breakers is located just 5.5 miles east of Palm Beach International Airport (PBI, approximately 14 minutes by car; 59.1 miles north of Fort Lauderdale International Airport FLL, approximately 60 minutes by car; and 73.8 miles north of Miami International Airport MIA, approximately 83 minutes by car). Guests traveling by private aircraft can be accommodated by Galaxy Aviation adjacent to the Palm Beach International Airport. Ground transportation from all airports to The Breakers is available via limousine, shuttle van, bus charter, taxi, sedan service and car rental. Executive car-and-driver service can be arranged through Concierge Services at the hotel as well, with limousines, sedans and vans on call.
