AHCA/NCAL is hosting a free 60-minute presentation on Tuesday, March 10 at 2 p.m. EDT titled A Whole-Person Approach to Resident Dining & Wellbeing discussing modern dining and complementary wellbeing practices for senior living residents. Learning objectives include:  

  1. Understand how modern dining approaches enhance resident experience and help in retaining census 
  2. Be able to describe how dining programs directly affect resident risk of malnutrition & chronic disease 
  3. List three ways that upgrading menus, recipes, dining options and plate presentation can enhance resident satisfaction  
  4. Understand the interconnectedness between wellbeing lifestyle programming, nutrition, and resident outcomes 
  5. Be able to discuss the nuance of the new Dietary Guidelines as they relate to nutrition for older adults
