Rapid Competency in Quality Improvement - A CMS-Sponsored Information Session for Nursing Homes

Quality; Programs and Resources

Nursing home providers are invited to join an information session to learn about a new generation of quality improvement (QI) training modules intended to facilitate proficiency more quickly among nurses and other allied health professionals in topics that are highly relevant to all practices and facilities.
In the wake of a global pandemic, technological innovations are needed to meet the critical training needs of newer health care workers, address proficiency gaps, and strengthen the existing workforce to meet ongoing and upcoming challenges.

CMS is spearheading the development of these modules to create training materials which are more engaging and reduce the time your staff needs to take away from patient care to focus on reaching proficiency in key patient safety and QI topics.

You will have an opportunity to share feedback about your priorities directly with CMS and learn about easy ways that you and your staff can get early access to the training modules and contribute to their development before they are rolled out nationally.
