2024 HCS Salary & Benefits Studies Deadline Extended

Hospital & Healthcare Compensation Service (HCS) is conducting its annual Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) Salary & Benefits study and requests your participation. CCRC providers have extended the deadline for particpation to complete the study’s questionnaire by April 29. The CCRC report will be published in June. 


A separate Nursing Home Salary & Benefits study is also underway with a deadline of May 13 and will be published in July. This report is supported by AHCA.  

There is no cost to participate in the study. The participant price for either report is $200 (pre-paid) or $220 (billed), versus the $400 nonparticipant rate. Questionnaires can be downloaded at www.hhcsinc.com. 

Both studies cover management salaries, bonuses, non-management wages, and fringe benefits. Data will be reported by region, state, CBSA, revenue size, and bed size. Both for-profit and not-for-profit data will be covered separately. Information on 18 fringe benefits, shift differentials, planned percent increases, sign-on bonuses, turnover, and vacancy rates will also be included. 

Last year’s CCRC report contained data from 477 CCRCs and covered over 78,700 employees, and the Nursing Home report contained data from 1,089 nursing homes and included data from more than 111,600 employees.
