Ryan Hoover leads one of the most remarkable facilities in long term care. Mountain View Nursing Home is a 5-star, 40-bed community in rural Virginia where 80% of the care is delivered by volunteers. Drawn by a sense of purpose, these caregivers travel from all over the country to live on campus and serve, with outcomes that put Mountain View among the top performers in the country. Ryan has shared this story at our staff retreat and at the CEO meeting this spring, and both times we walked away sure of one thing: his story deserves a bigger stage.
