Careers in Aging Month is a national celebration that shines a spotlight on the diverse, meaningful careers dedicated to supporting older adults. It is an opportunity to recognize the professionals who make a difference every day while inspiring new talent to explore opportunities in the long term care profession.
This Careers in Aging Month, we are looking to share stories throughout March that showcase career opportunities and celebrate the great work staff do every day. If you have a story about your journey through the long term care field, we invite you to share by answering the following questions:
- What is your job title and where do you work?
- What drew you to this field?
- What is the moment that affirmed your career choice?
- What impact has this work had on your life?
Please submit your responses and a photo via the Share Your Story form on the AHCA/NCAL website. Also please make sure to indicate in your submission that it is for Careers in Aging Month.
