LTC Trend Tracker Launches New Measures for Assisted Living

Quality; Quality Award; Assisted Living; Long Term Care

Data is a critical element in any quality improvement project, but it can also be overwhelming. Wouldn’t it be great if you could find your data all in one dashboard and see how your organization compares to your peers? LTC Trend Tracker gives you this ability, and it just got better!

Last week, LTC Trend Tracker launched its newest measures for assisted living communities to track and trend – falls and falls with injury. Assisted living providers requested these new measures, and the system has now been updated to accommodate this need. Providers can now access and download the new NCAL Measures upload spreadsheet within LTC Trend Tracker. This update allows them to track these two critical measures, provide historical data, and generate reports.

Data is pivotal in improving quality, and the addition of these two measures will help assisted living providers identify areas of opportunity for improvement and to benchmark and compare how they are doing to their peers. Assisted living providers are encouraged to log in to the LTC Trend Tracker system, download the new spreadsheet today, and run the AL Quality Measures report immediately following the data upload.

To learn more about how you can leverage data for quality improvement, AHCA/NCAL has developed a one-page resource to help your organization take your data collection and utilization to the next level.
